These Terms of Service (“Terms”) describe the terms that apply when you use the Carter’s Professional Cleaning Service website and when you request or receive our commercial cleaning and janitorial services. By using the website, submitting a request, or accepting a quote or proposal from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.
1. Our services
Carter’s Professional Cleaning Service is a family-owned, licensed, bonded, and insured commercial cleaning company serving Metro Atlanta and North Georgia since 2017. We provide commercial cleaning and janitorial services for offices, commercial properties, construction-related clients, and other business facilities, consistent with North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) categories 561720 (Janitorial Services) and 561740 (Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Services).
Website descriptions, photos, and service lists are general information only. The specific scope, frequency, pricing, and schedule for your location are controlled by the quote, proposal, or service agreement we provide and you accept. Photos on the website may include our crew at work and representative service images; they do not guarantee a specific result for every surface or property.
2. Quotes, proposals, and scheduling
- Quotes: Quotes are based on the property details, access information, and service needs you provide. If conditions on site differ materially — for example, size, condition, occupancy, or requested tasks — we may revise the quote before service begins.
- Walkthroughs: A walkthrough may be required before a final quote. Requesting a quote through the website, by phone, or by email does not create a service commitment until we confirm the scope, price, and start date with you.
- Scheduling: We will schedule services at mutually agreed times. Service windows can shift because of weather, traffic, building access delays, emergencies at other client sites, or safety concerns. We will communicate schedule changes as promptly as we reasonably can.
3. Access to your premises
To perform services, you agree to provide reasonable access to the areas to be cleaned, including, as applicable, entry credentials, keys or codes handled through the method we agree on with you, access to water and electricity, and a safe path for our crew and equipment such as backpack vacuums, floor machines, and lifts where those are part of the agreed scope.
Please tell us in advance about alarm systems, restricted areas, fragile items, hazardous materials, pets on premises, or special surface-care requirements. We follow your written instructions for securing the property at the end of a visit and will report access problems promptly.
4. Payment terms
- Invoices: Fees, billing frequency, due dates, and accepted payment methods are stated in your quote, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
5. Cancellations and rescheduling
We staff crews in advance, so please give us as much notice as you reasonably can when you need to cancel or reschedule a visit — ideally at least one business day for routine service. For one-time, deep-clean, move-in/move-out, or project work, the cancellation terms in your quote or agreement will control. If our crew arrives and cannot access the property through no fault of ours, we will contact you to reschedule and your agreement will determine whether a trip or rescheduling charge applies.
6. Quality and satisfaction
Our goal is consistent, quality service — reflected in our commitment to 100% satisfaction on the website. If a service does not meet the agreed scope, please notify us as promptly as possible, ideally within one business day of the visit, with enough detail for us to inspect or understand the issue. Where the agreed scope was not met, we will work with you to address the area, which may include re-cleaning the affected area at a mutually agreed time. This commitment does not expand the agreed scope to tasks, areas, or specialty services that were not included in your quote or agreement.
7. Client responsibilities and safety
- Safe premises: Provide a safe work environment, disclose known hazards, and comply with building rules that affect our crew.
- Valuables: Secure cash, jewelry, confidential documents, personal valuables, and fragile or irreplaceable items before service. We are not responsible for items that were not disclosed as fragile or that were left unsecured in a cleaning area.
- During service: Keep pets and unauthorized persons out of active cleaning areas while our crew is working, especially during floor work or when chemicals or equipment are in use.
Our crew works in a safety-focused manner, and our business carries OSHA 30 certification. Where a service requires elevated work, our crew members hold Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) scissor/boom lift certification. We may stop work that presents an immediate safety risk and will discuss next steps with you.
8. Liability and insurance
Carter’s Professional Cleaning Service is licensed, bonded, and insured. We carry insurance appropriate to our commercial cleaning operations and will provide certificates of insurance on request for client contracting and building management requirements.
